Terry Pratchett's Going Postal

Terry Pratchett's book Going Postal is about Moist Von Lipwig. He is a con artist and is hanged in the first chapter of the books, however the Partatian of the City, Ventari, only pretended to have him hanged since he wanted Moist to work as the postmaster and get the Post Office running again. However there are people that do not want the post office running.

Terry Pratchett writes fantasy comedy and is a very good author. I recommend this book because it is very well written and you can get a lot of laughs from it. It also has a sequel called Making Money. I very much enjoyed this book and would read it again and again.

First post and a rec

So my first post in a blog.....

This is mostly going to be a place where I can just complain about life and recommend what I am reading or watching at the moment.

Today's piece of fanfiction is called Harry Mewter by Alexa Ultra. This is a Harry Potter/Pokemon crossover. Don't worry it's better then it sounds. Basicaly Harry and co. decide to become animagi durring the events of the second book. Something goes wierd and they end up with pokemon animaguses. Without giving to much away, Harry's animagus is of a small pink cat. The wiriting in this fanfic is not as good as some others I know of, but it is not too bad. The fic seems to be updating consitently and is definitly one for the favorite list.
